PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 083 and ENGL 093; or ENGL 095, or ENGL 075 CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Introductory course surveying the history, purposes, structures, and functions of the three primary components of the criminal justice system: law enforcement, courts, and corrections. Explores the interrelationships and responsibilities within the criminal justice system.
