PREREQUISITES: BCTI 100 Introduction to Construction Technology. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course covers NCCER Concrete Finishing Level 1. Its modules cover topics such as introduction to concrete construction and finishing, safety requirements, properties of concrete, tools and equipment, preparing for placement, placing concrete, finishing, curing and protecting concrete, and introduction to troubleshooting. The NCCER Concrete Finishing Level 1 certificate and wallet card will also be awarded upon successful completion of this course.
