PREREQUISITES: AVIT 146 Aviation Regulations and AVIT 148 Aviation Materials and Processes. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Studies fuel metering systems in reciprocating powerplants. Airflow through turbines, superchargers and carburetors are discussed. Students overhaul carburetors to supplement theory discussions in this area. Engine cooling systems are also covered.
