PREREQUISITES: AVIT 146 Aviation Regulations and AVIT 148 Aviation Materials and Processes. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Covers the overhaul of a turbine engine; and the inspection, checking, servicing, repair, and removal/installation of turbine engines. Students will perform a receiving inspection on an aircraft engine and perform a complete overhaul.
