PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in FOUN 071 Tech Foundations II, or MATH 023 Essentials of Algebra I. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Provides familiarization with aviation drawings and blueprint reading. The student learns the proper methods to weigh various aircraft and the requirements for weight-and-balance reporting. Fabrication of fluid lines for hydraulic, oxygen, and fuel systems is also covered.
