PREREQUISITES: AUTI 132 Engine Performance Systems II or AUTC 209 Engine Performance II. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This is the last course in the engine performance series. This course covers advanced concepts in the diagnosis and repair of ignition, fuel, emission, and related computer networks. Federal and state emission requirements will be covered with a focus on 5-gas exhaust analysis and scope utilization. Hybrid/Alternative fuel technology will also be introduced. In addition, this course will prepare students to take a nationally recognized certification exam.
