PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in or ENGL 093 Introduction to College Writing and ENGL 083 Reading Strategies for College or ENGL 095 Integrated Reading and Writing . CATALOG DESCRIPTION: A critical thinking course that delves into the thought processes and manual skills needed in design and its application in the realm of two-dimensional fine arts. Beginning to intermediate design and color theory will be addressed through the manipulation of imagery in two-dimensional media. Critical thinking, problem-solving and manual techniques will be emphasized equally.
