PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 093 Introduction to College Writing and ENGL 083 Reading Strategies for College or ENGL 095 Integrated Reading and Writing. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: The scientific study of the material artifacts of human cultural remains. Provides insight into the earliest patterns of human behavior and its subsequent evolution into more complex forms. Acquaints the student with archaeological methods and with major findings of the archaeological record from selected culture areas.
