Catalog description

PREREQUISITES: Demonstrated competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 093 Introduction to College Writing and ENGL 083 Reading Strategies for College or ENGL 095 Integrated Reading and Writing. CATALOG DESCRIPTION: Human Origins is the scientific study of human biological and cultural evolution from early pre-Pleistocene hominids through the development of urbanized state societies. This course is a focused and critical examination of the paleo-anthropological record. Acquaints the student with the skills and knowledge to create a critical appraisal of our human heritage.
