Intermediate Screenwriting

Catalog description

WR 17 provides instruction in the craft and business of screenwriting for film and television for writers with some experience. Intermediate students help direct conversations about dramatic conventions such as structure, character development, dialogue, conflict, and setting as they continue to analyze works of philosophical, historical, literary, aesthetic, and cultural importance, such as produced screenplays to further develop their abilities to analyze produced screenplays and write their own original work.
