Catalog description
This course provides a research-based introduction to the major maladaptive patterns of human behavior. Students will explore historical and current psychological perspectives and research findings on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental problems such as disorders relating to anxiety, mood, personality, sexual functioning, psycho-physiology, schizophrenia, and gender identity. Credit may be earned in either PSYC 37 or 37H, but not both. C-ID: PSY 120
