Catalog description

This course is an in depth study of the physical and biological aspects of the evolution of the earth with emphasis on the origin and evolution of life reflected in the rock record. The history and origin of the earth, continents, oceans and atmosphere are also explored. Methods and concepts utilized in deciphering the geologic record will be emphasized in both lecture and lab.
