Catalog description

This course provides practical experience for students majoring in engineering and applied sciences. It focuses on modeling and designing with a physical element such as a robot or quad-copter. Students will develop skills such as analyzing physical structures, manufacturing small components, testing, team building, planning, scheduling, management, and implementation of a final design. Projects may include data collection, design reviews, analysis, report writing, group construction projects, and participation in competitions based on related criteria.
