Catalog description

This course examines the theoretical framework, historical development, and methods of anthropological archeology. The course introduces students to archeological site location and analysis, data collection, excavation techniques, artifact identification and classification, and interpretation of cultural sequences. This course will discuss archeological ethics and community relations as well as cultural resource management. C-ID: ANTH 150
