Nurse Aide

Catalog description
Nurse Aide is the 76-hour certified nurse aide (CNA) course. It allows students to meet the training requirements of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA) for nurse aides working in nursing facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Emphasis in the course is on achieving a basic level of knowledge and demonstrating skills to provide safe and effective resident care. (1.75/0.5/0.75)
