Boundary Protection introduces the various methodologies for defending a network. Students focus on the concepts of firewalls, including packet filtering, proxy firewalls, application gateways, circuit gateways, and stateful inspection. Students delve into security planning, well-designed security policies, and integrated support from anti-virus, software, intrusion detection systems, and related tools.
