Human Biology is designed for non-science majors or as a prerequisite for higher-level anatomy and physiology courses. It focuses on the following areas: the molecular and cellular basis of human life; the integration of humans and the biosphere; the structure and function of human tissues, organs and organ systems; and the principles of genetics and human development.
