Catalog description

A weekly forum for Church Music major and emphasis students that hosts conversations on relevant and current topics in music ministry, guest speakers, master classes, and performances. This course is not taken for college credit. MU 1_1, 1_2, etc. Applied Music one semester each, one - two hours per semester (B-Brass, D-Conducting, H-Hymnplaying, M-Composition, O-Organ, P-Piano, S-Strings, V-Voice, W- Woodwinds) Private instruction as approved by the music department. MU 1C1, 1C2, etc. College Choir one semester each, one hour per semester Opportunity for all students to participate in IBCS’s music program including performances in a fine arts concert each semester. MU 1E1, 1E2, etc. Ministry Team one year each, one hour per year Pre-selected members will prepare for and execute tours that will minister to fundamental churches and ministries through music, drama, and practical service.
