Catalog description

Application of the nursing process in childcare from the stages of growth and development of the newborn to adolescence. Integration of communication skills, care management, and evidence-based practice. Emphasis on health promotion, prevention and recovery from disease. Utilization of ethical-legal aspects, in care, interprofessional collaboration and management of alterations affecting functional health patterns in pediatric care. Requires a total of 90 hours of supervised practice in various scenarios.
