Description of knowledge representation, reasoning, search, and learning processes. Implementation, application, and evaluation of artificial intelligence algorithms. Discussion of the importance of continuing professional development and awareness of the social, ethical-legal, professional, and security issues and responsibilities in the discipline. Requires 45 hours of lecture-laboratory time.
