Catalog description

Analysis of community health needs, integrating the nursing process and quality standards for promoting health and well-being for individuals, families, and the community. Discussion of public health concepts related to the health-disease continuum, population needs, and prevention strategies. Integrates information technology, technology, and the use of evidence-based practice into the planning process. Requires 45 hours of supervised in-person community practice and a community health project.
