Catalog description
Study of the properties of divisibility of whole numbers, the prime numbers and prime factorization. Analysis of congruences, their relation with diophantine equations and their applications. Application of the basic concepts to the multiplicativas functions, the primitive roots and the primacy tests. Emphasis in the mathematical demonstration. Applications of the theory of numbers to the cryptography. Use of computers in an open lab.
