Discussion of the processes of adaptation to the environment of individuals with special needs. Evaluation of the importance of the promotion and restoration ofphysical and mental health. Use of strategies for developing interview and practice skills with evaluation and documentation formats. Development of observation and documentation skills. Familiarization with the evaluation and documentation formats. Knowledge of the role of the assistant versus that of the therapist according to the laws and regulations applicable to Puerto Rico.
