Catalog description

Discussion of basic pharmacological aspects of person-centered nursing care. Integration of relevant scientific knowledge, evidence-based practice and ethical-legal aspects. Use of dosage principles and skills, along with the integration of informatics in providing care. Application of the nursing process in the safe and effective administration of medications. Requires a total of 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of face-to-face or virtual closed laboratory.
