Discussion of human-computer interaction concepts. Discussion of interaction design models and graphical interface design principles. Design, implementation, and evaluation of programs with graphical interfaces that meet user needs. Discussion of the importance of continuing professional development and awareness of social, ethical-legal, professional, and safety issues and responsibilities in the discipline. Requires 45 lecture-laboratory hours.
