Analysis of the relationship between human beings and the functional environment in aviation. Includes human behavior and performance, perception, memory, learning, and ergonomics. Discussion of the implications of decision-making in risk management. Discussion of physiology and the limitations of the human body. Technology and automation in aviation and the relationship between human beings and the aircraft are illustrated.
