Study of the different historical currents of semiotics and of the visual and linguistic signs in visual organizations. Analysis of the correlations of iconic semiotics, symbolic semiotics or of graphic discourse in the process of production and reproduction of social knowledge. Discussion of the fundamental methodologies of graphic discourse in the diverse cultural contexts in which they take place.
