Catalog description

Study of the anatomy of the female reproductive system and pathophysiologies during pregnancy. It includes the study of the stages of childbirth and possible complications during the process. Discussion of the management of a woman in labor. Description of the factors associated with neonatal resuscitation and the functions of the emergency medical system in the management of pediatric patients. Study of complications, management and treatment of pregnant patients, neonates and pediatric patients with different health dysfunctions. Discussion of the protocols and procedures for the transport of the pregnant patient, the neonate and the pediatric patient according to the emergency presented. Requirement 45 hours of lectures.
