Catalog description

The course is designed as an elective for social work and other graduate students who wish to increase their knowledge on interprofessional practice and skills. Students will study and discuss concepts of interprofessional practice and the evidence-based applications of such practices. Students will also learn basic medical terminology in order to effectively communicate with other health professionals and function as co-equal team members.
