Catalog description

Course examines historical contexts and philosophical perspectives on the development of social welfare institutions and the profession as a response to social conditions and human needs. Concerns for social and economic justice for diverse populations at risk are examined. Prerequisite: Admission to the Social Work Program and completion of 90 hours.
