Catalog description

Course integrates and consolidates theories from prerequisite social, behavioral, and biological sciences courses from a human growth and development perspective. Themes include assessing and understanding human diversity in varying social contexts, social injustice, oppression, cultural heritage, and concerns for specific vulnerable populations. Emphasis is on individuals, families, and groups, and the reciprocal interactions between them.
