Catalog description

This course continues the study of social theory from the early years of the 20th century through today. It includes an analysis of critical theory, multicultural and Afrocentric theory, feminist theory, symbolic interaction, phenomenology, and postmodernism. The course examines the relationship between social theory and social action/social change in contemporary society.
