Senior Seminar in Sociology I

Catalog description

This seminar provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate and further develop their sociological knowledge and skills in preparation for a career or graduate studies. They will research, select, propose, and design a team project that will benefit the program, University, and/or community in consultation with the instructor. Students also will individually develop and produce a research-based paper. Some meetings outside of class time may be necessary. Senior status or approval of faculty advisor or chair required.
