Catalog description

Examination of the evolution of gender issues from an historical context to modern-day contemporary life. Gender is examined critically and reviewed at the macro, meso, and micro levels with a focus on gender roles, relationships, and treatment in different institutional, organizational, and group settings. The course takes an intersectional focus, examining the ways that gender, social class, ethnicity, sexuality, and other identities impact individual and group experiences. (Cross-listed as CRIM-250.)
