Catalog description

This course is part of the Socio-cultural and Individual Differences core content area of the psychology major. It surveys various theoretical conceptions of personality and the different types of data they are based on. Each approach is evaluated critically in light of its ability to explain scientifically both the unique and common characteristics of individual patterns of behavior, as well as the behavioral influences of social and cultural exposure. PSY 120 or PSY 124 recommended prerequisite.
