Catalog description

This course will introduce you to health psychology and focus on the interaction of biological, psychological, and social factors on health, illness, and chronic disease. The topics we will cover in class include (but are not limited to): health promotion, health behaviors and health behavior change, stress and coping, chronic pain and pain management, chronic and terminal illness, psychoneuroimmunology and immune related disorders.
