Catalog description

This course is part of the Research Methods content area of the psychology major and provides an introduction to statistical techniques used in psychology and social sciences research. Concepts such as measures of central tendency, variability, probability, and statistical techniques including: t tests (independent & dependent samples), Analysis of variance, Chi-square, correlation, and regression are introduced. The goal of the course is to present basic mathematical/statistical concepts and to emphasize application of these procedures. PSY-124 recommended.
