This course is part of the Research Methods content area of the psychology major and provides an introduction to research methods in psychology, including experimental and correlational techniques. Topics include design of experiments; surveys; observational research; single-case studies; writing research reports; ethics in research. Emphasis is on conceptual understanding of research issues and application of the principles of experimental design.
