Catalog description
This course offers an overview of school based services of occupational therapy. Students will gain an understanding of current best practice within the educational setting. Students will also gain skills in the areas of evaluation, treatment planning, educator collaboration, educator training, group process, and educational skills for students. An overview of both federal and state law will also be provided as well as discussion of billing processes for services. Prerequisites: none; Co-requisites: none
