Trans to Prof Nursing Practice

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide nursing students in their final semester an opportunity to develop their professional role under the tutelage of a preceptor. This opportunity will facilitate nursing student transition into practice by enabling students to synthesize nursing knowledge and skills gained from previous coursework. With guidance from faculty, students will develop a quality improvement project to implement during their practicum. Throughout the term, students will focus on NCLEX-RN© examination preparation and the licensure process.
