Complex Transition Nurs Care

Catalog description
This course explores professional nursing practice and its role in health promotion and injury prevention in complex patient populations. A focus on holistic nursing care allows for a more in-depth exploration of nursing responsibilities and healthcare needs of complex patients with rapidly changing health conditions and critical illnesses. Concepts of transitional nursing care and the nursing process are applied to complex patient care situations to enhance clinical reasoning skills. Knowledge of advanced technologies and nursing’s role in the coordination and collaboration of healthcare teams are emphasized.
