Catalog description
This course applies a theoretical and clinical focus in Obstetrical/Gynecological Nursing through a holistic approach to the care of diverse populations in the community utilizing family centered care. Knowledge of nursing, behavioral and physical sciences is integrated and applied when providing care. Content is presented in order of development and level of acuity focusing on appropriate concepts. Due to the diversity of the population, clinical experiences are also diverse in location and level of acuity.
