Catalog description
This course focuses on holistic responses to changes in the internal and external environments of persons across the lifespan. To build foundational knowledge related to the pathophysiology of illness and injury, concepts of adaptation and maladaptation are explored. Pathophysiology and clinical manifestations of diseases are studied with an emphasis on defining scientific rationales for nursing actions.
