Catalog description

This course builds on and extends Inquiry I: Methods of Evidence-Based Practice to refine the student’s ability to integrate research and knowledge into practice and evaluate impact on quality and safety of patient care and outcomes. The purpose of this course is to provide the DNP student with the methodological basis for translating evidence into practice in a variety of healthcare settings. The course emphasizes the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in translating evidence into practice environments. This course includes assessment and analysis of a practice setting including approximately 100 practicum hours.
