Catalog description
Mus 238 is a 3-credit course for music majors covering the history of western music from the early eighteenth century to the present. Major composers are covered but emphasis is on styles, genres, and historical context. Student also complete a research project with continued instruction on foundational aspects of scholarly musicological research.
