Catalog description

Music Theory 3 is a continuation of the skills practiced in Music Theory 2 with an emphasis on chromatic harmony. Through the study of harmonic, melodic, rhythmic, and formal elements, you will become more proficient listeners, performers, and thinkers, increasing your knowledge and understanding of the music of the Common Practice period and its context within the broader history and theory of Western music.
