Ukulele Class I

Catalog description

Ukulele Class I is open to both music majors and non-music major students with little or no experience with ukulele. This class is designed as a comprehensive intorduction to the basics of the instrument, and will also provide students with usable knowledge in both fundamental music theory and note-reading. Ukulele techniques to be learned include both finger-picking single melodic lines, as well as strumming patterns for the most common chord shapes.
