Introduction to applications of personal computers for the musician and music teacher. Laboratory experiences in word processing, database management, Web page design, Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI), sequencing, music notation, and composition programs. Exploration of commercial software for music instruction and management. Meets core computer requirement. One section each semester designated specifically for Music Education majors.
