Catalog description

The course will present principles and practices related to measurement and evaluation of human performance. This is a hands-on laboratory designed so students can perform laboratory and field tests in the area of exercise science. Students will learn to run all equipment in the Human Performance Laboratory (including ECG stress testing), DEXA (for body composition), force determination, cycle and treadmill ergometry. Prerequisite: MEXS major. Corequisite is MEXS 510.
