Catalog description
This introductory course offers a comprehensive exploration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), equipping students with the skills to responsibly leverage the technologies essential for modern business communication and data analysis. Students will gain hands-on experience with Al agents and ML tools, with a key focus on prompt engineering and the iterative refinement process of AI to create insightful and actionable outputs. Throughout this project-based course, students assume the role of a partner in a firm, tasked with utilizing AI and ML to evaluate business risk, financial risk, as well as company purchase price. Students will leverage their use of AI to generate a detailed written report supported by AI-driven data visualizations. Students will, likewise, use AI agents to create and avatars to deliver an engaging PowerPoint presentation and promotional video of their findings to a real-world business professional.
